Chris Tyrkalo – Owner
Chris and his wife, Shelly, discovered Made in the Shade Central Alberta while purchasing custom window coverings for their own family home. The company brought style, value and worked with integrity they could trust. Chris started as a Design Consultant with Made in the Shade in 2015 and purchased the franchise in 2023.
Chris is born and raised in Edmonton and has lived in Sherwood Park since 2009. Chris has a strong background in project management and customer service and brings many years of experience in home ownership and rental property management helping his clients keep an eye on both style and budget.
