My first contact with Michelle was a very positive experience—as we confirmed the appointment time on the phone, she told me she’d be picking up coffee on the way and offered to get me one too. From the moment we met Michelle, we knew that we had picked the right person for the job. She was extremely professional and worked with us to pick blinds and shades that worked with our home. She was also very candid on the other quotes that we had received and gave us some great advice, which was another reason we picked Michelle. Originally, I had picked everything since Suzy was at work. But Michelle made time to come back to our house to show Suzy what we picked, which was very nice.
We also got to deal with Darcy during our installation and he was also very professional. Both Michelle and Darcy installed our blinds and cleaned up all the mess including vacuuming the area! We were very impressed with their level of service. In fact, Michelle had noticed that one of the shutters had a “nick” in the wood and immediately rectified the problem before we even noticed. It is this type of service that gave me the confidence to recommend their services to our friends and neighbours.
The only slight problem, if you could even call it that, was the delay in getting our blinds. But Michelle kept us in the loop the entire time and we did not have a problem with the delay in receiving our product. Michelle’s constant communication made the process much more manageable and pleasant. We didn’t have any real issues and we are happy to recommend Michelle, Darcy and Made in the Shade.
